Double Sump Pump Failure

With the insured away on holiday, a local electricity outage and the subsequent failure of both the master and slave sump pump led to 2ft of water inundating the basement.

Trustheat were appointed with the specific request of being able to dry the basement whilst ensuring the extensive plant room equipment could remain in situ, as traditional drying solutions would require its removal.

Minimal strip out

Our schedule vastly reduced the need for strip out as expected, with only skirting boards and a small area of low level plasterboard needing to be removed. We avoided the uninstallation of all the plant room equipment, plus the removal of the entirety of the tiled floor that ran throughout the basement

Our drying treatment took just 5 days, and was scheduled whilst the policyholder was on holiday as per their request, avoiding any disruption for our client.

basement flooding

With only skirtingboards removed, exchangers heat the air mass, drawing moisture from the walls.

plant room flood

Extensive plant room equipment remained in situ thanks to our evaporation drying solution.
