Commercial flood restoration
Debonair - Kendal

Situated in the heart of Kendal town centre, the Debonair Hair Salon was badly affected by the flooding that followed Storm Desmond.

In addition to inundating the salon, the ingress also affected a residential property that adjoined the property, causing further headaches for owner Debbie.

Working in conjunction with local Chartered Surveyors Peill & Co, our scaleable system allowed us to dry both properties simultaneously, reducing costs and disruption for our client.

Our 'soft strip' approach required minimal removal of fittings and fixtures, and we vented the walls by removing the bottom 100mm of dry lining and created a series of vent holes at regular intervals.

Drying of both the salon and residential property took just 6 days, with our network of data probes recording and evidencing the reduction in moisture content within structural materials in live time throughout.
