Trustheat helps client avoid months of dehumidifier drying

When drying with dehumidifiers showed little progress, our insurance client requested our 4 day evaporation drying solution.

After a long-standing pipe leak was detected in her family home, Heather Rimes was warned a similarly long process of drying and reinstatement would be required. After 5 weeks of drying with dehumidifiers (and little progress observed), Trustheat were asked to provide an expedited and more cost effective alternative by her insurer.

Our initial survey recorded moisture content of 99% in the solid floors, which were the main focus of drying. Running 24 hours a day, over a 4 day period, our team oversaw the drying cycle to completion, reducing moisture content in the solid floors to just 15%.

Customer Heather Rimes reflects on using our service:

"We found the Trustheat team so professional and had complete confidence when we left our home in their hands.
We are now sitting in our newly decorated lounge, when a few weeks ago we never thought we would be back home for months. It's all thanks to the speed of the drying."

Mrs Rimes' insurer benefitted from a vastly reduced claim cycle. In addition, both alternative accommodation costs and reinstatement costs were significantly reduced.
